CHAPTER SIX:
Monday, 12th August:
Picking up his mail from the floor John shuffled into the kitchen still half asleep. One of the envelopes had an Amsterdam postmark. Waiting until the coffee had percolated, John poured himself a cup, picked out the Amsterdam letter and studied it. His name and address, John Newhouse, No. 10 Paultons House, Paul tons Square, Chelsea S.W.3. was written in a scrawled untidy hand. He opened it and read the short letter which stated that he would be welcome at Keizersgracht 159, Amsterdam, on Friday the 16th August.
Thoughtfully John opened his other letters, then getting up picked up another envelope which had been pushed behind the kitchen clock. Sitting down again he poured himself more coffee and took a photograph out of the envelope, which he had received from the Male to Male Organisation. The photograph was the head and shoulders of a strikingly good-looking negro. His name was Marat Omid, and he was smiling in the photograph, although his large almond-shaped eyes looked serious. His full lips were parted, showing white even teeth, and his negroid hair was cut very short which emphasized his handsome features. John put the photograph down on the table and lit a cigarette. Sun streamed through the kitchen window, and he leaned back in his chair, allowing his dressing gown to fall apart. The warmth of the sun's rays made him feel randy, and his large cock, lying in repose like a fat sausage between his legs, swelled and stiffened slightly.
It was 8.30am, and John had a busy day ahead of him. At 10am he was due at an auction sale, where he hoped to pick up one or two pieces for his two antique shops. After that he was going to a house-clearance sale outside London. At 4pm he was due to visit an antique merchant who was about to go broke, and was consequently selling stock as fast as he could. John intended to be one of the trade vultures to descend on the unfortunate man...
But as he sat back in the kitchen chair he wasn't thinking of the day's activities which lay ahead. He was thinking of his life in general, and was remembering that it was less than two months ago that he had joined the Male to Male Organisation in a fit of sheer boredom. He was glad he had done so. He was no longer bored — on the contrary, he was finding life most interesting. He had enjoyed his trips to Paris, Hamburg and Berlin. He had enjoyed meeting his first “contact", Norman Leigh, here in London. And in another four days he would be flying to Amsterdam. He had spent a brief weekend in that country before, and he had taken a liking to the place, but somehow had never managed to return. John leaned forward and picked up the photograph from the table once more, his large, dark eyes scanning the features of Marat Omid carefully. Yes, John thought to himself, Marat Omid looked most interesting.
